Georgina was invited by the Moonee Valley City Council to facilitate and install her Seven R’s workshop and community public artwork at the Crown Street Stables as a part of their annual FestAble celebration.

FestAble is held by Moonee Valley Council to mark International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD), a United Nations-observed day that occurs every year on 3 December. FestAble is described as a day for everyone in Moonee Valley; not just people with a disability, but their families, carers and friends, in a day of music, dance, art, sport, inspiration and inclusion.

Seven R’s Workshop Blurb: Paint your own giant letter or symbol so together we can ‘write’ the seven r’s of sustainability across the rubbish area of the Crown Street Stable. Using bright colours, brushes, sponges and tapes, festival goers will create a vibrate collaborative sign writing project for the whole of Moonee Valley to enjoy. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Rot, Repurpose, Repair. We are all capable of making a difference to our environment, no matter your age or ability!
